I am a happy girl today....
I am one of those people who absolutely love birthdays, mine included....no, not because I'm an " all about me" type girl....just simply because I truly feel the anniversary of one's birth IS a special day : )
I truly hope that ALL of you celebrate and embrace the anniversary of your birth, make it a day to love yourself, the all, of what comprises you.
This year, there is a palpable difference in how I view my birthday from the last two years....
This is the first birthday lately, that I have felt more happiness than sadness.
I was reminded of that, in a beautiful way , as I read a morning email from a good friend....I will quote part of it here....
" I know the last few years have not been kind or pleasant, but I do believe that everything has a purpose. So with God's help and love I hope you achieve everything your heart desires. "
ah.k. Let me tell you all, dear friends, it is PEOPLE like YOU, ALL OF YOU, that have made, yes, continue to make, my life worth living.
My friends in every day life, and you - my readers and friends here, my sister, my brother, Mark's family, ( even Mimi and Alex , my little chihuahua's ! ) just generally, people who are KIND to me, SINCERE to me, people who accept the me of me....
I LOVE YOU ALL, and I truly appreciate all the love, kindness, and friendship you extend my way. I appreciate your kind words, thoughts, prayers, I APPRECIATE YOU, I truly do!!!
ah.k. I am an emotional girl, and your friendship has brought me tears of pure JOY on my birthday, on everyday, and for that, I THANK YOU SINCERELY : )
